The Young Adult Community at Calgary Full Gospel is a diverse group of young people ranging loosely from ages 18-35. The young adults at CFG meet in a variety of ways with an emphasis on small gatherings.
Along with getting plugged into a community group (see below), here’s a few ways to get involved:
Along with a lot of informal lunches after Sunday services, we meet together for brunch / lunch after the 11AM service every 3rd Sunday of the month. These are usually coordinated through our Facebook group which you can find / join here.
On a quarterly basis we host community dinners for our larger young adult community (pot-luck style), and other events include worship nights, an annual Christmas party, and seasonal events like informal camping trips, hikes, and more.
We run two retreats a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. The retreats are a great opportunity to spend some intentional time together with others in the community as we eat, engage in a variety of activities and spend time in worship, prayer, and the scriptures.

One of the primary ways we connect and grow with one another is through regular times together in community groups. Most of the groups meet bi-weekly and you can learn a little bit more about the more “young adult” centric groups below, although we encourage you to get connected with any of the groups in the church if you find one that fits for you based on location or area of focus.

Group Description: This group runs on Thursday nights bi-weekly and meets downtown at the church (917 14 Ave SW). We eat together at each gathering and have an alternating rhythm of studying scripture, topical studies / spiritual disciplines, and prayer and worship.

Group Description: We meet bi-weekly on Fridays, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, for a time of fellowship to improve our lives by measuring it up with the Bible as a plumb-line. We encourage everyone to actively participate and give voice to the thoughts and questions that roam our minds along with individually spending time studying, meditating, and living our lives daily as disciples of Jesus. The goal we pursue is to constantly continue to unravel our identity in Christ and we live it out daily.

Group Description: We meet bi-weekly on Fridays at 6:30pm. Our group is passionate about people finding their true identity in Christ, rooted deeply in great faith and resting in Christ's unrelenting love. We actively pursue God’s word as the standard as we lead our lives, encouraged to ask questions on thoughts that we need more clarity on, we are committed to growing in His love for us and positively impacting our immediate community for Christ as we navigate through life. We also build the spirit of community in doing fun activities together as a larger group.
