As a Host or Parking Attendant, you are a “Minister of Welcome” for Calgary Full Gospel. Because first impressions are important, you bear awesome responsibility. This is especially true for PARKING ATTENDANTS who are often the first person church visitors meet. Church Parking Attendants give drivers clear directions to the most convenient lot and space for them, as well as escort people to and from their vehicles and the church building as requested or needed.
Some HOSTS are stationed near the church doors and are the first ones to greet the people entering the building, while others are stationed throughout the building to provide further direction and assistance. Hosts serve by:
- Being Informative.
- Offering Guidance and Direction.
- Helping to create an atmosphere that will allow the gospel of Christ to best be heard and received
- Acting as a watchperson for any situation that may arise.
- Watching for the comfort of the people at all time
Hosts and Parking Attendants play critical roles in ensuring that people return and in short can either make or break an effective church ministry.
